The focus of the exhibit is in human reactions to urban existence. What does it mean to be human in the rapidly changing technological society of the twenty-first century? The 23 artists selected for this show offer a broad range of viewpoints on this issue. Many are mid-career, with extensive exhibition history, and several are emerging artists exploring a these issues in a fresh new way. One of the most important aspects of art is its ability to reflect our own society back to us in ways that help us understand our world. We believe that this will be an exciting and thought provoking show.
